What do users want? Let’s ask them.
Want to improve your program, service, or website? Maximize your marketing strategy? Raise more funds? You’re probably already A/B testing and using web analytics to infer what your constituents want — but how about asking them what they want? It may sound daunting now, but it’s actually quite easy and efficient to spin up user tests.
This session will explain how to design and administer tests that engage directly with users to understand their needs and interests. It will cover the mechanics and example implementations of usability tests, focus groups, surveys and polls, card sorting, and tree testing. You will leave confident in your ability to choose and design the right study for your purpose, and prepared to launch brief, impactful user tests.
