20NTC Session Proposal

We’ve implemented CRM. Now what? Sustaining CRM culture over time.

You’ve selected your CRM solution and have done the hard work to launch.  Or you may have been live on your solution for many years.  Now what?  The nonprofit organizations that achieve true transformation and value from CRM are those that successfully transition from the initial implementation to routine operations and sustain continuous commitment and improvement over long periods of time.  We will present multiple techniques and ongoing rituals that are time-proven for sustaining momentum and trust, bringing cross-functional teams together and keeping them aligned and always seeking new and improved opportunities, even through staff turnover, changing constituent expectations and technology changes and upgrades.  We will cover specific practices and rituals such as retrospectives and design thinking in depth, with co-presenters from smaller and larger nonprofits to share personal experiences and case studies.

Learning Outcomes

  • Identify the barriers that commonly limit organizations from realizing the expected value from their CRM investments.
  • Learn proven techniques for aligning cross functional teams over time on shared objectives that lead to transformative constituent engagement.
  • Acquire specific rituals and routines that maintain momentum and build shared understanding that can be sustained long-term and through change.
