Join this session to learn more about how user personas are a useful tool for communications strategists. User personas—also called audience personas—help communications strategists articulate their organization’s target audiences in specific ways. By researching and creating user personas, communicators identify their target audiences’ needs, attitudes, motivations, and behaviors. Understanding target audiences and how they wish to receive communications messages is key for developing communications strategies, messaging, and products that resonate and are relevant.
This session will focus on the basics for developing user personas and examples of how to use these personas. There will be time during the session for attendees to ask questions and share their own experiences.
