Unpack the jargon to become a data driven organization

Description

The term “data driven” has become a hot topic and there is a lot of jargon around the practice. Let’s unpack the terminology and streamline the concepts to get a clear picture of what it means for an organization and what the benefits are. We’ll explore specific examples of how different roles/departments (fundraising, IT, marketing/comms, program, volunteer) can make small changes to become more data driven. We’ll explore:

* How to determine what data is important and relevant?

* How to determine the right audience/context for the data collected?

* Specific ways to use data to inform decision making, strategic planning, effective story-telling and more. 

* Hear case studies from organizations and share with others attending the session. 


Target Audience

The session is for anyone in a leading role in the organization, whether org leader or department leader.
