Ready, Set, Go Live!
Most people who have worked on a software implementation project have experienced the frustrations and stress of a go-live. Everybody has to be trained, all of the software has to be neatly packaged, and even the best laid plans go awry.
Before buckling in for the next bumpy go-live using the same process you’ve always used, make sure you are tailoring the process to the people working on the project as well as the end users. Participants will learn some of the strengths and weaknesses of go-live practices, processes, and procedures commonly used for projects of all sizes. Everyone will walk away better prepared to streamline the go-live process by setting proper expectations and making it as seamless as possible.
- identify and develop critical tools to ensure the launch of any system
- enable adoption by ensuring your staff has the resources needed for go-live
- develop a set of tools to apply as needed based on each individual project and the resource's strengths and weaknesses
