Keep It Sustainable: Care, Feeding, and Grooming of a Large Website

Description

Any nonprofit digital property needs a healthy amount of upkeep, and the larger the site, the more deliberate and managed that upkeep needs to be. In this session, Fíonta and its national nonprofit client will share real-life examples of processes and tactics that have helped them succeed in its digital strategy. From setting up release cycles to managing team structures and dealing with competing organizational priorities, they’ll cover it all – and share some cautionary tales, too.

Learning Outcomes

  • Bring Calm To Chaos: Implement processes for managing updates, feature development, and integrations in a sustainable, orderly way
  • Keep The Big Picture in Focus: Understand how to prioritize competing requests
  • Keep It Safe: Implement the proper cadence of security and system updates
