IT Planning and Budgeting Crash Course
Well-managed IT infrastructure is a foundational piece of using technology to meet your organization’s mission. This session will begin with a case study of documentation developed over the course of a decade to manage a mid-sized nonprofit’s infrastructure. The case study will highlight how a techbook documents the nuts and bolts of a network environment, and how a technology plan lays out issues and priorities, which help inform a multi-year strategic budget.
Beyond the case study, this session will be an opportunity for experienced and new IT managers to come together and discuss approaches to infrastructure management. The goal of this session is that participant feedback will expand on the concepts presented, and that everyone will leave with new ideas to improve their IT environment.
