Inform Funders Your Project Deserves Support
Wendy has an impressive track record for fundraising. In the 3 years she has served with the Kansas City Public Library, between building and managing a team responsible for Strategic Initiatives, she has raised half of a million dollars from government sources, private foundations, and local corporations. Funding has enabled Wendy and her small team to develop a robust collection of resources for adult patrons in the library’s service area.
Her successful fundraising goes back to 2009 when she wrote her first proposal to earn the first grant for a newly incorporated community gardening nonprofit. Since then ,she has served in development/marketing management roles at a handful of different nonprofits before landing at the Library.
