Inclusive Branding

Description

An organization’s brand is more than our visual identity, and while brand standards should always include your marks, margins, and colors, what if they could include more towards guiding your organization to be more inclusive and accessible for ALL our constituents?

In this session, we’ll look at 10 ways every nonprofit can work towards creating a more accessible, representative, and inclusive organizational brand and organization.  We’ll utilize real nonprofit examples to demonstrate each point and how easily small actions can be implemented towards a more inclusive brand.


Learning Outcomes

  • Identify 7 tangible actions an organization can take to be more inclusive and accessible.
  • Explain to colleagues the need to implement more inclusive branding considerations.
  • Apply knowledge learned to test organizations visual accessibility and update brand standard documents to be inclusive of such considerations

Target Audience

Communications, marketing, and branding staff of nonprofits who seek to ensure their organization is inclusive and accessible.
