From Burnout to Balance: Helping the Helpers
Burnout is becoming more and more common – especially among nonprofit professionals. It is becoming so prevalent that the World Health Organization now considers it a medical diagnosis. While burnout can be largely based on things outside of our control, there are many aspects of it that can be aided simply by deconstructing our beliefs surrounding it and making conscious shifts in mindset. Often we think we need to go from our starting point to the end goal in one giant leap, but this session will show participants how they can take small, consistent steps to reach balance through self-assessment and thoughtful conversation to deconstruct the myths we tell ourselves and choose to believe.
