Expanding Authentically Into Diverse Audiences


In progressive philanthropy, we work with and for diverse constituencies. By amplifying their voices and describing their experiences, you can create more inclusive, authentic connections to your mission. Nonprofit marketing experts from Anne Lewis Strategies will share how they’ve done it: developing targeted content and acquisition plans that recruited more people of color, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ audiences to nonprofits’ growing lists. These experts have come up against the questions that follow diverse acquisition, and they’ve learned the keys to creating mission-minded content that speaks to diverse supporters — not at them. This session will help you develop strategies consistent with your values and those of your supporters.
