Chatbots are rising up everywhere you look, from retail stores to healthcare sites. Adored by users for their instant response times and 24-hour accessibility, their success has left many companies scrambling to latch on to this skyrocketing trend. In this session, we’ll explore how nonprofit organizations can harness chatbot technology to improve engagement with their audiences, and boost their fundraising events’ registration and revenue numbers.

As DonorDrive’s Senior Implementations Manager, Meghan welcomes new clients into the DonorDrive family and guides them through the on-boarding process. As their main point of contact, Meghan strategizes with clients on how to best utilize the DonorDrive platform, leads design conversations, and implements additional tools such as chatbots and paid social marketing.

Meghan also plays a key role in building DonorDrive’s Partner community, helping vet potential partners and acting as the touchpoint for existing partners, providing essential resources and documentation.

Wayne Baldaro has been fortunate to have had 3 careers – for 15 years he was a marketing and regional manager in the wholesale electronic component distribution business in Southern, Northern California and Arizona. For 22 years he owned and operated a successful educational business teaching young children technology. In 2008 he was recruited to run the NAMIWalks event in Los Angeles County – in five years the event went from $240,000 to $375,000 with over 4,000 participants. In 2012 he joined the “national team” and worked with 25 walks across the western United States. He currently leads the team of five, working with over 95 walks and raising over $12 MM in 2018.

His philosophy is there are no failures only learning experiences, success is always closer than we realize, and gratitude is what brings us joy in life.
