20NTC Session Proposal

Effective Automation and Systems Integration Strategies


The session compares the traditional point-to-point integration architecture vs the modern decentralized integration architecture. It highlights the pros and cons of each strategy for non-profits with low budgets and/or lack of advanced IT skills. It focuses on the benefits to non-profits of using integration platforms such as Zapier to achieve flexibility, automation, and efficiency with minimal financial impact. It outlines how I am leading HFLI’s (Henry Ford Learning Institute) IT strategies using the modern decentralized integration approach. I’ll discuss the benefits and challenges we are going through.
