Developing Stronger Nonprofits through the Power of Technology Volunteers

Description

72 percent of nonprofits believe they could increase their impact by engaging skilled volunteers – especially technology professionals – yet almost a quarter of these organizations have no plans to do so because they are unsure of how to partner and work with them. Common Impact has nearly 20 years of experience managing technology skills-based volunteer programs, and in that time we’ve learned best practices that can help any organization manage a successful IT volunteer project. We recently incorporated this expertise into Capacity Commons, a free interactive tool and resource hub for all things pro bono. Capacity Commons connects organizations to talented volunteers and supports them throughout their engagements, from scoping projects and reporting results to providing advice on cross-sector collaboration. Join Common Impact CEO Danielle Holly to learn how your nonprofit can leverage the power of technology volunteers to increase efficiency and better serve the community.
