Safeguarding Your Organization, Cybersecurity Strategies that Won’t Break the Bank
Nonprofits face tremendous exposure when it comes to cybersecurity threats, but often remain exposed to threats due to competing budget priorities. In this session, Greg Tselikis of SC&H Group will describe how nonprofits can protect themselves against emerging threats, develop a security roadmap that takes both risk and budget into consideration, and evaluate when existing technology should be replaced instead of its security improved. Greg will be joined by Kristin Urban, IT Director, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and Tatenda Murandu, Senior Director of IT, National Park Foundation(NPF) to discuss the threats both organizations have faced and how they protected themselves without adding additional friction to staff productivity.
- Understand the emerging security threats that nonprofits are facing and how to protect against them
- Prioritize and develop a roadmap for security when budget is a concern
- Recognize when it makes sense to invest in new technology versus improving security in existing technology
