Description

Blockchain has been all over the news lately, mainly in relation to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. But does this complex and geeky technology have a place in nonprofits and their efforts for social good? The answer is yes.

Join Sheila Warren of The World Economic Forum and Marnie Webb of TechSoup as they cut through the hype and explain the basics of blockchain. The pair will address the implications for advancing social sector work in areas like transparent fundraising, grant management, environmental protection, civil society, and more. Sheila and Marnie will also deliver easy-to-understand case studies of nonprofits currently using blockchain in unique and surprising ways.
