A $2.5 Trillion Opportunity: Integrating Refugees into Organizational Design
Integrating refugees into the global labor market presents an opportunity to unlock a $2.5 trillion annually – and this number is only growing each year. In this session, nonprofit leaders will learn actionable tools for recruiting and integrating refugees into their workforce, as well as including refugees in the design of their programs. They will learn to nurture diversity to maximize their impact through strengthened creativity, productivity, innovation, and decision-making. Case studies will show the direct link between diversity and innovation. These companies changed the composition of their teams to include more diverse perspectives from refugees, women, and other intersectional identities, and through these inclusion efforts, were able to strengthen their programs and improve user experience.
