Donations made on mobile devices are increasing at an exponential rate each year. In this session we will explore emerging mobile technologies like digital wallets and streamlined donation forms, and how nonprofits can take advantage of these to elevate donor experience, appeal to younger donors, and increase online donations.

David DeParolesa is CEO of Give Lively, a philanthropist-funded tech company that builds digital fundraising products for nonprofits and gives it away for free (seriously). David spends most of his day working directly with nonprofits, understanding their fundraising pain points and imagining creative ways to solve them. Prior to Give Lively, David founded Web Philosophic, where he created a way to help bring attention to Democrats running for Congress. He previously worked at Discovery Communications and American Express, where he led product development for Discovery’s TV-Everywhere product and helped reshape Food & Wine Magazine’s digital experience. When he isn’t developing products, coding, or designing, David can be found bopping around Hell’s Kitchen, making improvements to his rental, or traveling back to Boston to play with his baby niece, Olivia.

Brooke brings a decade’s worth of B2B tech experience at Fortune 500 companies to the nonprofit fundraising world at Give Lively, a philanthropist-funded tech company that builds digital fundraising products for nonprofits and gives it away for free (seriously). Brooke has been growing Give Lively’s marketing arm for over two years and is energized by the privilege to work alongside nonprofits fighting for the causes she loves—like gender equality and social justice. When she isn’t helping nonprofits, Brooke is staying active through dancing and running around NYC, attending panels on social change, planning her next big trip, and soaking in all the culture New York City has to offer.

Nicko Margolies is the Digital Fundraising Strategist for Malala Fund, the nonprofit founded by student and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai to champion every girl’s right to 12 years of free, safe, quality education. Nicko works across multiple departments to expand Malala Fund’s online giving and engagement programmes, including special fundraising campaigns.

With more than a decade of payments industry experience, Robin Dupont leads the Social Innovation Team at PayPal as the Director of Social Innovation. Leading a business team serving mission-focused organizations and the individuals who support them, across charities, universities, Edtech, K12 schools, political campaigns and parties, associations, other nonprofits and crowdfunding platforms. Representing business, product and brand priorities – working in tandem to drive business and social impact In her previous role Robin helped lead Chase Paymentech Solutions as Director of Client Relations. Recognizing the rapid growth rate and consumer demand for payments, Robin established exclusive working agreements between Chase Paymentech and Visa and MasterCard. As she is heavily involved within various payment industry organizations, Robin currently serves as an advocate with Visa and MasterCard to ensure complete understanding of merchants and the associations. Robin oversaw and managed all aspects of client relations for several of Chase Paymentech’s largest accounts. Robin joined Chase Paymentech in 2005 , as a National Account Manager and then was promoted to a Director role in 2006 . Robin is the recurring expert at PayPal. Prior to joining Chase Paymentech, Robin worked in Client Relations for over 20 years.
