Community and Accessibility Committees

Everyone Is Welcome

We’re forming two committees to help inform this new and different 21NTC — the Community Advisory Committee and the Accessibility Committee. We’re looking for a diverse group of folks, representing different perspectives and experiences within the community, and serving in a wide variety of roles in nonprofit technology. These groups will provide input as part of our community-driven process to develop the new, virtual Nonprofit Technology Conference in the spring.

Commitments

Committee members are expected to participate from October 2020 through February 2021 in the following ways:

Community Advisory Committee

  • Participate in three committee calls, no more than one hour per call.
  • Provide input on community elements of the Virtual 21NTC.
  • Assist with promotion and outreach for the 21NTC.

Accessibility Committee

  • Participate in three committee calls, no more than one hour per call.
  • Provide input on creating a welcoming and accessible Virtual 21NTC.

Both Committees will work to support NTEN’s commitment to equity during all stages of planning.

The total time commitment will be approximately 8–12 hours, and committee members receive free conference registration.

If this opportunity sounds like a good fit for your skills and interest area, please complete the form below. The application deadline is October 16.

Do you have additional questions? Please email Tristan Penn about the Community Committee or Jude Parker Koski about the Accessibility Committee.
