Chief Innovation Officer at City of South Bend

As the Chief Innovation Officer for the City of South Bend, Denise leads the Department of Innovation & Technology which includes the Civic Innovation, Business Analytics, Services, 311, Infrastructure, and Applications Divisions of the City. She previously worked at the Smart Chicago Collaborative and the Federal Communications Commission. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Riedl co-chairs the National Digital Inclusion Alliance Inclusive Smart City Working Group and is a Fellow with the Benton Foundation. She will start as CIO on February 11.
