Role: Project Manager (Technical Lead)

Location of work: Anywhere in Canada

About the Role

The Canadian Centre for Nonprofit Digital Resilience is looking for an exceptional Project Manager (Technical Lead) to join our team.

You will play a critical role in driving CCNDR’s efforts to achieve our vision of a digitally-enabled nonprofit sector, where Canada’s nonprofits use data and technology to multiply their impact. You will lead a portfolio of projects harnessing the collective expertise of our broad network to identify priorities and prototype and mobilize around solutions. You will work alongside CCNDR’s Project Manager. Your responsibilities as a member of a small team will evolve to meet the needs of our growing community.

What You Bring

Passionate about the digital transformation of Canada’s nonprofits, you bring experience building the digital and data readiness of nonprofits and familiarity with the ecosystem of for-profit and non-profit providers and vendors in this area. You also have experience using collaborative R&D processes to prototype, test, and evaluate interventions, especially those focused on improving the functioning of markets or ecosystems. You have technical skills relevant to nonprofits as they adopt digital technologies.

You are entrepreneurial and strategic, with an ability to spot and pursue opportunities. You have a keen understanding of how to foster trusting relationships and partnerships to achieve shared objectives. An effective communicator, you can toggle seamlessly between diverse audiences and platforms. You have experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from beginning to end.

You are confident, self-directed, and a quick study, but not afraid to ask for help or own your mistakes. You are enthusiastic, upbeat, and a consummate team player. Calm under pressure, you deliver on tight deadlines and can juggle multiple priorities.

Nice to Have

Subject matter expertise in one or more of CCNDR’s priority areas (see our web site). English/French bilingualism.
