Brief Summary of Work for this Position

The position creates, edits, and monitors communications for social media platforms managed by the division for University Advancement and the UNCW Alumni Association. This position:

•Creates and curates digital content

•Drives participation and attendance in annual giving campaigns and alumni events

•Maintains content on the UNCW Alumni Association website

•Aids in the development and deployment of digital communications

•Acts as a resource and strategic partner to various units across campus

N.C. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred education, professional skills and experience

Non-profit or higher education experience is preferred

Video production or graphic design experience is a plus

Experience using Customer Relation Management systems

Ability to analyze and interpret complex data

Engage in diplomatic conversations to secure buy-in on proposed strategies

Recruitment Range

$40,000 – $46,773
