Nonprofit Software Sales – Inbound SDR

What you’ll do:

We’re seeking a highly motivated and energetic Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to communicate with nonprofits that have expressed interest in NeonCRM and Web Studio. As an Inbound representative, you will work with prospects that have already engaged with us through one of our marketing channels. This is a customer service position that involves high quality outreach to hundreds of nonprofits on a weekly basis, speaking to them about their needs and how we can help them achieve their goals.

You will:

  • Prequalify interested nonprofits via phone and email to determine if they are a good fit for NeonCRM and/or Web Studio
  • Bring in 250+ qualified prospects per month, and meet other objectives set by Sales Manager
  • Convert 60% to 80%+ of qualified leads to sales opportunities
  • Schedule demos, trials and meetings for sales team with qualified prospects
  • Follow our sales process and track all activity in Hubspot
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of our Company’s product and service offerings, sales procedures, mission, and values
  • Provide weekly forecasts to Sales Manager
  • Work with the Sales Manager to implement prospecting strategies
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on product, industry changes and competitive landscape
  • Be a feedback conduit to sales, marketing and the leadership team

What you need to get the job done:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Sales or Fundraising/Nonprofit Development
  • Willingness to become proficient in Hubspot, NeonCRM, and other tech platforms
  • Outgoing, high-energy, and enjoys talking with people (role is heavy phone-based)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications kills
  • Strong time management skills with ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Ability to take initiative and complete tasks on an independent basis
  • Proven team player

  • Working knowledge of nonprofit sector
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Customer service experience
  • Teaching or training experience

$40,000 base salary plus commission
