Marketing Project Manager

Big Duck

https://www.bigduck.com

Do you have 2–3 years of experience in project management? Do you have experience working in an agency and/or in business-to-business (B2B) marketing? Do you have a talent for staying on top of the details while keeping an eye on the big picture, and a passion for great nonprofits? Are you good at juggling priorities and pivoting when needed? You might be just the person we’re looking for.

What does the Project Manager do?

Big Duck’s project manager ensures that all of Big Duck’s marketing efforts are implemented on time and with accuracy.

Here’s some of what the job includes:

  • Managing and updating all of Big Duck’s marketing channels, including our blog, podcasts, website, email, social media, public speaking, and more, following a calendar set by our Chief Growth Officer
  • Understanding and managing our marketing machine tools (Asana, Act-On, WordPress, GoToWebinar, Google Analytics, etc.) including setting up projects, troubleshooting, implementing new features, keeping things tidy and organized, and helping colleagues make the most of the platforms
  • Managing the production of ebooks, case studies, and other significant thought leadership and marketing projects, including scheduling and managing calendars, including ensuring colleagues are keeping projects on track
  • Coordinating speaking and training logistics, including submitting session proposals, tracking conference deadlines, working with partners, assembling materials for workshops and webinars, handling travel and reimbursement requests, and other details
  • Drafting content for social media, emails, blog posts, and other marketing materials
  • Maintaining our many systems and reference materials so they are accurate, current, and trusted
  • Interfacing with our web partners and other marketing vendors
  • Fielding requests for information or support promptly and with a high degree of accuracy

The Project Manager (Marketing) reports to Big Duck’s Chief Growth Officer and works closely with our CEO and other staff. The Project Manager works primarily for the Big Duck team, but may also share some time with our sister agency, Advomatic, doing similar tasks.
