About the Role:

Lautman Maska Neill & Company is looking for an experienced Digital Account Manager to manage the digital fundraising strategies for non-profit organizations and help them raise money and awareness for important causes through email, SMS, and web. In this role, you will create innovative fundraising and engagement campaigns for our nonprofit clients, collaborating and working with a team of implementers to bring them to life online. The ideal candidate will use their digital fundraising expertise to build and grow a strong and committed multi-channel donor file.

About Your Responsibilities

  • Maintains strong relationships with clients and reports to appropriate stakeholders to keep them apprised of all accounts
  • Creates multi-year strategic vision for the digital program and creates yearly client budgets
  • Working on multiple teams, acts as liaison with clients, account team, creative department, analytics department, and vendors to execute campaign strategy
  • Leads the development of individual campaign strategies and tests to meet the overall digital program goals
  • Writes (or supervises the writing of) all email copy for multiple clients
  • Writes (or supervises the writing of) data selects and segmentation instructions
  • Writes all digital campaign reports and analysis
  • Ensures results are updated regularly and reports out to the client during the campaign with analysis and recommendations
  • Supervises the proofreading of all campaign materials from copy through tests to ensure the quality of each campaign
  • Manages the production schedule and ensures that all campaigns go out on time
  • Maintains strong relationships with outside digital vendors, and cultivates new relationships to build our cadre of partners.
  • Regularly reports out to staff on digital trends and testing reports in staff meetings
  • Attends training sessions, including company seminars, as well as industry events and conferences
  • Speaks at industry events and contributes blogs and other material to industry publications
  • Participates in new business proposals

Qualifications

  • 6-7 years experience in fundraising and/or direct marketing
  • Detailed knowledge of direct response and digital fundraising (email, SMS, and web)
  • Ability to develop compelling email copy for a variety of causes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, highly organized, and eager to make a difference
  • Agency and nonprofit experience strongly preferred

About Our Location:

We are located south of Dupont Circle in Washington, DC. The position is offered in either a Hybrid, On-site, or *remote capacity.

*This position will be available remotely for candidates who will be in a work location in which Lautman Maska Neill & Company has an established business entity. We currently operate in Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, and Washington DC.
