Webinar: 2014 Trends – Content Strategy, Mobile, and Social Media

Every year has some common trends in what the next best thing for your website will be. This year the “what’s hot” list includes social integration, mobile, content strategy, newsletters, and enhanced Google Analytics tracking. But many organizations are unsure about their options, what costs are needed to implement them, and what they can do on their own.Â

Find out what you can do to evaluate whether or not these features are right for your organization, as well as determine when it is better to use a third party tool instead of reinventing the wheel. We will also look deeper at each feature to determine what your choices are, reasons why they might be more or less attractive to your organization, and what costs – both hard and soft – are associated with each option. We will then dive into the steps your organization can take now to get started while covering some tools and resources that can help you along the way.

What will I learn? We’ll show you a process you can follow to find out if the next best thing is the right thing for your organization and its website. We’ll make sure you understand the different options available for adding social integration, mobile responsiveness, and more to your website, and why one option may work better for your organization. Plus, we’ll show you the steps needed to get started on your website update, and share the tools you’ll need to get started!

Who should attend? If you’re looking for the way to give your website a boost in the new year, or are just wondering what the latest trends in website design might be, you’ll benefit from learning how to streamline the process of choosing how to keep your website up to date and relevant. This webinar is for any staff member in an organization that play a role in managing, or contributing content to, your organization’s website. Whether you’re in communications, marketing, or fundraising and are looking for a better way to get information out, or if you’re in the IT department planning the next website redesign, this webinar is for you!
