Data Visualization with KUMU

Nonprofit Tech Club Austin (Austin, TX) is part of NTEN’s Nonprofit Tech Club program.

Data visualization has been a topic that many of our #NPTechClubATX members have requested, and this is a big step in that direction!

In brief:

“Kumu is a powerful data visualization platform that helps you organize complex information into interactive relationship maps.”

Kumu can be used for public projects free of charge (or for a modest monthly fee, one can develop private data visualization projects). Our presenters are Clare Zutz and Mark Hand.

Clare Zutz is currently a Lecturer and Program Coordinator at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin. Mark Hand is a PhD student at the LBJ School of Public Affairs.

While colleagues at the RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service, they worked closely with UnLtd USA in Austin to use Kumu for data visualization. Clare and Mark also co-founded Impact Analytics, a consulting firm to help organizations harness the power of relationship in their data.

We appreciate Austin startup accelerator Techstars serving as our venue for this free and insightful Meetup!
