The website redesign process can be an intimidating black box. You know you need a new website, but how do you get from that idea to a beautiful, functioning, mission-driven .org? Understanding the redesign process ahead of time is crucial to prepare your organization to get a website that works and lasts, whether it’s built in-house, with a volunteer, or by a consultant or agency.
The course materials focus on outlining the high-level phases of a website redesign project as well as how to articulate organizational needs, website scope, and other elements that permeate every each phase of the project. You will establish the right foundation for success at the start of a website update or redesign project.
The homework will offer an opportunity to directly apply what you’ve learned to your own project and receive direct feedback from faculty.
Participants complete pre-readings, answer knowledge check questions, attend an online training, and receive feedback directly from faculty on a homework assignment.
