Intro to Google Analytics
Members $125/Non-members $250
NTEN courses run for one week and are offered twice a year.
I've never used Google Analytics and Yesenia's pre-reading, training session, and especially the dashboard was a really incredible intro. I appreciate that she started the session with some key terms definitions and then brought us right into her dashboard to start navigating the system.

Participants will identify key website metrics, their definitions, and implications for nonprofit outreach efforts.

Participants will assess the impact of ongoing outreach efforts based on website metrics.
Let’s say goodbye to being overwhelmed by the information in Google Analytics. In this course, we’ll cover just the data points that are most applicable to your nonprofit’s website. We’ll discuss what each data point is actually telling us about the areas of our website that need improving. Armed with our new data know-how, we’ll walk through specific ideas that you can use to start improving your site.
And to keep all of us focused on the data that matters, you’ll receive a link to a dashboard template that you can “save as” and use directly in your nonprofit’s Google Analytics account.

Several relevant articles will establish key concepts and ideas as a primer to the live event, and help you to identify questions and topics you want to explore further.
A brief quiz will reinforce what you've learned so far. Don't stress - it isn't pass/fail - it is just to help you remember and distill the concepts you read in the pre-work.
This is a 90-minute intensive online training. Presented by expert faculty in a state-of-the-art interactive learning environment, there are opportunities to interact with the presenter and your peers in real time. And if you can't make the live session, you'll be able to access a recording.
Faculty, themselves experts with a wealth of nonprofit experience, have created exercises that will reinforce what you've learned and give you actionable steps to improving your organization.
