Strategic thinking skills necessary to determine the ideal design, tone, and emotional impact of their intended emails.
Email can be a powerful fundraising tool to engage your supporters and donors. But to succeed, you need to be strategic. Your emails are not just up against the other informational or inspirational messages in someone’s inbox—they’re also competing with potential donors’ other priorities.
This introductory level course will introduce you to effective email strategies and the tactics that help you get donations. Learn proven tips and tricks, as well as strategies to change direction if needed. It will help you understand how a good email communications strategy can harness your organization’s personality to emotionally influence recipients. Course materials will showcase industry leaders and their successful email storytelling and solicitation tactics, as well as some cautionary tales.
This course was previously titled Intro to Fundraising Email Strategies.
