Well-designed visual assets for communications are within reach for every size organization, thanks to readily available free or affordable tools. Learn the basics of how and when to use these tools to help tell your story.
You will learn how to save time and money as you design social media graphics, email headers, and even print graphics.
We will begin with an introduction to some common apps, templates, and examples of best practices. You will learn all the basic tools, functions, and exports to give you the right final product for your needs. We’ll also go through some shortcuts and secrets to make you feel like a pro.
Teresa WangDigital Strategy Consultant
Teresa Wang is the Communications Manager for SVPLA. She has also spent a fair amount of time as a digital communications consultant building websites, managing social media, executing email marketing campaigns, and building paid digital advertising campaigns, for a variety of nonprofit and small business clients. She specializes in nonprofits with progressive missions and messaging. Teresa co-founded Roots of Equality in the wake of Prop 8 and collaborated with other grassroots groups to organize actions, including protests, trainings, and an exhibit and book about queer Los Angeles.
