Advisory Committees

Help support the NTEN community and shape NTEN programming by joining an advisory committee!

NTEN members are encouraged to serve on one of NTEN’s advisory committees: Nonprofit Technology Conference (NTC), Membership, or Editorial.

Want to learn more? Review the brief descriptions and fill out the interest form below. Direct questions to community@nten.org.

NTC Committees

The NTC Steering Committee has been divided up into the Session Advisory Committee and the Community Committee. (These committees have been filled. Check back in Spring 2018 to get involved with 19NTC.)

Session Advisory Committee: Help develop the NTC’s educational programming. Members will represent a particular content area and play a proactive and influential role in setting the agenda for the educational content of the conference.

Community Committee: Support the NTEN community and shape NTC community programming. This team will help us build on and explore new ways to make the conference more welcoming and inclusive as well as give input on existing NTC community events.

Membership Committee

Membership committee members provide input on NTEN’s membership strategy. If you are a passionate NTEN member or you have an interest in the membership programs at your organization, this is the group for you. The committee meets for up to an hour every first Thursday of the month at 10am PT. Volunteers are expected to serve for at least one year. Members must be able to attend monthly hour-long video conference calls and make regular contributions to the committee’s online discussion group. Express interest via the form below.

Editorial Committee

The Editorial committee helps advise NTEN on our articles and other online content by suggesting authors, topics, and story angles. If you have expertise or interest in nonprofit technology blogs or news, we need your input! The committee meets for up to an hour every first Tuesday of the month at 10am PT. Volunteers are expected to serve for at least one year. Members must be able to attend meetings and make regular contributions to the committee’s online discussion group. Apply using the form below.
