Drum Roll Please . . .
It's the final day of Member Appreciation Month here at NTEN, and we've saved the most coveted prize for last: we're giving away a free registration to the 2008 Nonprofit Technology Conference!
We're happy to invite:
Maria Palomino, from America's Second Harvest to join us in New Orleans, March 19-21, for the biggest -- and most fun, I might add -- conference for nonprofit technology professionals!
Thank you for being a member of NTEN, Maria and America's Second Harvest. And thank you NTEN Members one and all, for your support and participation in the nonprofit technology community.
Don't forget: Registration for the 2008 NTC opens December 1st.

Thank You NTEN Members
Thank You, NTEN members, for your membership support and particiaption in the nptech community. Just because we're coming to the end of Member Appreciation Month doesn't mean that our appreciation for NTEN members is drawing to a close. Speaking of drawings...
To continue our nptech giveaways, we're sending a copy of AdWords for Dummies, courtesy of Jossey-Bass/Wiley Publishers, to today's appreciated member:
Elaine Tola of the Carolina Center for Public Service. Thank you, Elaine, for being a member of NTEN and doing the work that you do every day!
And all NTEN members can get this book, and all books offered from Jossey-Bass/Wiley Publishers, for 20% off with their member discount!

NTEN Member Appreciation Month Recap
As most of you know by now, November has been NTEN Member Appreciation Month. We've had special giveaways, programming, and discounts for members all month -- and this newsletter has been generated from submissions by NTEN members.
Of course, we are grateful for our members every single day of the year: we couldn't provide the programming, resources, or this newsletter without you. But we wanted to do more than a simple 'thank you'. We wanted to show you how much we appreciate your ongoing support and participation in the NTEN community.
I'd like to take this opportunity to announce five new discounts for NTEN Members:
NTEN Member Appreciation Count-Down
There are only a few days left in November, so the same goes for Member Appreciation Month. But it's not over yet -- and today we have another giveaway to an NTEN member:
Fred Whiting, of the Points of Light Foundation. We're sending Fred a coupon for a free NTEN webinar of his choice.
Here's another reminder of the Member Appreciation Month specials you can still take advantage of this week:
> Free set-up and first month's service for Custom DonateNow from Network for Good (contact us to learn more)
> Free consulting from MissionResearch when you take advantage of the 15% NTEN member discount on GiftWorks
> Free web conferencing and special introductory rates from ReadyTalk
> Don't forget the member-generated NTEN e-newsletter coming out this week
Last Week of Member Appreciation Month
It's the final week of NTEN Member Appreciation Month, and we want to kick it off in a big way. First, I'm happy to announce today's appreciated member:
Robert Goodman, of the American Friends Service Committeee. We're sending Robert some NTEN Gear because we're thankful he's a member of NTEN!
But the giveaways don't stop there. I am happy to announce a special offer for ALL NTEN Members, compliments of Network for Good:
NTEN members can get 100% off set-up fees and the first month free for Network for Good's Custom DonateNow between now and December 30th!
Custom DonateNow is an online donation processing service that enables nonprofits to accept credit card gifts on the Web. If you're an NTEN member, or would like to become a member, and want to take advantage of this special NTEN member appreciation offer, contact us!
Happy Thanksgiving NTEN Members!
As I write this, some folks may be placing pumpkin pies in the oven in preparation for a Thanksgiving meal, and as that warmth sets in, I'd like to extend another warm "thank you" to our NTEN members and announce the NTEN Member who will receive a gift of appreciation from us today:
Sandra Deacon, of the Student Conservation Association.
Thank you for doing the work you do and for being a supporting member of NTEN! We're sending you a coupon for a free NTEN webinar of your choice.
And a reminder to all NTEN members of the free webinars for you this month:
> Free Webinar: An Hour A Day with Google Analytics (recording)
> Free Webinar: Introduction to Google AdWords (recording)
> Free Webinar: Advanced Google AdWords (recording)
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
We're Not Tired Yet
You'd think that the daily giveaways would be wearing the shine off my Member Appreciation Month cheer -- but you'd be wrong!
Today I'm happy to give long-time member (and another 501 Tech Club Leader) a gift of appreciation:
Judy Hallman, of RTPnet!
Judy, we're sending you some NTEN Gear from CafePress. Even though we say that the NTEN Gear is to show your NTEN pride, the truth is that it's the techies for good who make the gear look good!
And since this month is for all NTEN members, don't forget that you can all take advantage of the special programming and discounts this month.
Thankfulness for Our Members
Judging by the number of "Out of Office" automatic replies I'm getting today, there are lots of folks already on their way to visit relatives, friends, and other loved ones for the Thanksgiving holiday.
This year NTEN has decided that the month of November is the perfect opportunity to express our thankfulness for our members. So, we've established the first NTEN Member Appreciation Month, and we've been giving a gift away to an NTEN member every workday this month.
Today we're happy to be able to thank:
Grace Barry, long-time member and Long Island Tech Club leader!
We're sending Grace Forces for Good: The Six Practices of High-Impact Nonprofits, by Leslie Crutchfield and Heather McLeod Grant, compliments of Jossey-Bass/Wiley Publishers.
All NTEN members can get this book for 20% off with the NTEN member discount.
Speaking of member discounts, I'd like to take this opportunity to announce five new member discounts that have come on board:
Happy Friday, NTEN Members!
NTEN Member Appreciation month continues as we announce today's NTEN Member who will receive a gift of thanks from NTEN:
Lisa Finkelstein, from the Full Circle Fund will get a free webinar of her choice.
All month we're celebrating our members, but as the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, we want to shout out once more our appreciation for the supporting members of NTEN who make our programming and resources possible. Thank you!
We hope you'll take advantage of the special programming and discounts this month.
