Vivanista’s Summit disrupts the traditional nonprofit conference. Leveraging successful corporate strategies, the stellar line-up of speakers address hard-hitting issues nonprofits and volunteer groups are similarly facing: branding, media relations, corporate sponsor sales, ROI-based events and how to maintain sustainable audiences. The bootcamp on Thursday, Nov 10, is packed with in-depth hands-on workshops in fundraising and leadership. November 11th kicks off with a series of keynotes, panels and break-outs that deliver practical, tangible tools development staff and volunteer leaders can implement immediately. In conjunction with Eventbrite, the VivaBrite Awards will be handed out that evening to honor outstanding achievement in charitable fundraising. On the 12th, the focus shifts to building communities especially as it pertains to engaging young professionals and philanthro-teens. That afternoon, Vivanista's partner, the UN Foundation Girl Up initiative, will take over for a multi-media teen forum open to all attendees.
