NTC Social

The NTC has the hottest social scene in the nonprofit technology sector. We encourage you to take a break from the 3 days of nearly nonstop learning opportunities to network with the other amazing folks attending the NTC.

The Social Calendar

After registering to attend 2011 NTC, you'll create a log-in for myNTC, our featured conference social network. Head to the "Events" tab on MyNTC to browse and RSVP for a myriad of social events created by 2011 NTC attendees and sponsors.

Progressive Party

The NTC After Party has consistently been a highlight of every conference and a topic of conversation long after the event is over. Year after year, the After Party has continued to sell-out.

In an effort to continue the growth and include more people, we've decided to make this year's party a Progressive Party: a whole series of smaller events hosted around the Washington Hilton. We hope this will give you the chance to get out of the hotel, socialize and see a little more of DC.

The progressive party will be a series of smaller parties, planned by NTEN members & conference attendees, taking place at multiple venues in the DuPont Circle neighborhood of Washington DC. NTEN will provide a map of party locations and encourage attendees to visit as many as possible.

Affinity Group Meetings

Affinity Group meetings happen on the first day of the NTC, Community Day. They are primarily for networking and connecting conference attendees who share similar interests. If you are proposing an Affinity Group, please remember that you will be acting as a meeting facilitator, not a presenter. Make sure you take our Affinity Group Survey to submit a topic, offer to facilitate a group, or just let us know what type of meetings you would like to attend.

Birds of a Feather Lunch

Join a topic-specific table to meet new folks who share your interests and have stimulating conversation over lunch on Friday, March 18. Topics will be announced at the conference. Want to include a topic?   Email Brendan@nten.org.

Member Lounge

On Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19 attendees will have the opportunity to use a lounge set aside for NTEN Members only. Unwind with free snacks and WiFi -- or get wound-up with exciting activities designed to inspire and connect.
