Birds of a Feather

Every year at the NTC we create space for fellow birds of a feather — like-minded individuals of a similar background or interest — to mix and mingle during lunch. These Birds of a Feather (BOF) tables are a great way to casually make new connections and talk about shared interests or topics.

Q: How do I know what BOF tables are available?
A: The list is posted below and will also be projected in the conference lunchroom.

Q: How do I join a table?
A: Just grab your lunch, find the BOF tables that interest you, and have at it.

Q: How can I sign-up to host a BOF table?
A: We’ve closed the online form to suggest tables before we head to San Jose, however there will be opportunities to sign-up on-site.

Q: What does it mean to “host” a BOF table?
A: BOF groups are meant to help attendees connect; there’s no need for pre-planned agenda. Ultimately, the host should simply make sure to hold the table. Bonus points: Make sure everyone at the table gets acknowledged when they sit down, help people connect, seed a conversation.
