The 2009 NTC will take place Sunday, April 26 through Tuesday, April 28 at the San Francisco Hilton.
- Rooms at the Hilton will be $199 at our group rate, which is pretty darn good for San Francisco.
- NTC Registration will cost the same as this year, starting at $349 for Members, $549 for non-members. (Trust us, it makes good fiscal sense to join NTEN [1] before registering).
Registration for both the NTC and the Hilton opens on December 1st, 2008.
The 2008 NTC took place March 19-21, in New Orleans. And we had a great time!
More than 1,000 people came together at the Sheraton New Orleans [2] for the Nonprofit Technology Conference to connect [3] with colleagues, learn [4] about the issues, share their knowledge [5] with others, and, of course, have fun [6]. We talked about what works, what doesn't work, and what is in the works for those using nonprofit technology to further a cause. This year's theme was:
Building Community: Connections around the globe and around the corner.
More than ever, technology is helping nonprofits tap into and build communities to create social change. Now, more than ever, our stakeholders are able to connect, share and act on our behalf from around the globe, or around the corner. At this NTC, we paid special attention to the tools and strategies that are reshaping how we go about doing our work, by empowering our clients and stakeholders.
We had more than 90 breakout sessions on the most important technology issues today. All of the session materials that have been provided to us by the presenters are now online:
