Sarah spends her days working for NPower, a nonprofit that provides technology support and training to other nonprofits. She also volunteers for the nonprofit Freedeom for IP and can rant at length about the idiosyncracies of US copyright and patent law.

Over 20 years ago, Grace joined what was then the PC Revolution. After a career in which she hopped jobs every two years, she decided to focus on what is important in life and went into NPOs. Now she's passionate about both technology and her agency. How lucky can you get?

Chicago Artists Resource

Sara is a Chicago-based web developer and performance installation artist who's committed to creating online resources to support artists. She's currently the webmaster for Chicago Artists Resource, of which she also oversaw the development.

Creative Time

Lauren is the Director of Operations at Creative Time, where she plans, implements, and supports the organization's technology, and works on other projects. She's interested in CRM/CMS solutions, open source technology, Macs, blogging, and web 2.0 (though not the buzz word itself).

CompuMentor

Graham works at CompuMentor where he ensures that NGOs can effectively use technology. When he's not helping to save the world through the good use of technology, he tinkers with renewable energy, runs a technology cooperative, and enjoys sea kayaking with his significant other.

Consultant

Beth Kanter is a trainer, coach, and consultant to nonprofits and2008 NTENny Winner individuals in effective use of technology. She’s also a prolific and excellent blogger, widget expert, and Flickr aficionado. And in recognition of all her fabulous work, we awarded her the first annual NTEN Prize for NPTech Fantasticness at the 2007 NTC.

Central Piedmont Community College

Melissa is the eLearning Director at Central Piedmont Community College, which has an eLearning program that serves 19,000 students annually. She does the work she does to help bring high quality, low cost education to everyone in the world.

Sierra Club

Adrian moved to San Francisco in 1998 and came across Joe's Digital Diner (now the Center for Digital Storytelling in Berkeley) and fell in love with the internet as a medium for telling stories. After several years of working in the publishing industry, he ended up at the Sierra Club.
