The Nonprofit Technology Conference – often referred to as the NTC – is NTEN’s annual event for nonprofit professionals, funders, consultants, and technology partners who aim to leverage technology more effectively for social good. Each year, thousands of people gather to learn new skills, exchange ideas, and connect with peers who share their commitment to making change.
At a time when resources are tight and nonprofit staff are stretched thin, the 2026 Nonprofit Technology Conference is a space to build resilience and foster collective growth. At the NTC, you’ll find practical learning and professional growth opportunities, as well as a supportive, power-packed community. Whether you’ve attended many times before or you’re joining us for the first time, you belong here.

Being a speaker at the NTC is about more than giving a presentation — it’s about contributing to a community of learning and practice. By sharing your expertise, stories, and strategies, you help strengthen the entire nonprofit technology sector.
You can propose a session now through September 19. After proposals close, the community will weigh in, helping us create a program that reflects our collective priorities.
Everything you need is in the speaker dashboard — your one-stop hub for session details, deadlines, and resources. From there, you can start your proposal and find guidance to support you along the way.

Something for everyone
Who's at the NTC?
The NTC brings together thousands of nonprofit professionals at all levels, as well as funders, consultants, and technology service and product providers working in the nonprofit sector who care about using technology strategically, effectively, and equitably. No matter your current role or level of experience, you’ll find sessions and spaces designed to support both your work and your organization’s mission.
NTC attendees come from all over the world, and from all types of mission areas. Learn more about attendee demographics.
Learning and skill-sharing
The NTC offers a wide range of sessions, from workshops to expert advice to strategic discussions. Session topics include leadership, AI, program and service delivery, digital inclusion, cybersecurity, fundraising, communications, and IT. At the NTC, we believe in peer learning. You’ll learn directly from nonprofit folks who are testing, building, and improving technology practices in their organizations — and you’ll have chances to share your own experiences too.
Building community
At the NTC, connection is more than networking — it’s how we sustain our work and each other. Across sessions, meals, and even pickleball courts, you’ll find opportunities to meet peers, mentors, and potential partners. Join “birds of a feather” lunches, dine-around dinners, affinity lounges like the LGBTQIA2S+ and racial affinity spaces, or NTEN’s community meetups and tech clubs that gather in person each year. These relationships don’t end when the conference does — they ripple outward, strengthening the sector and helping us share strategies and solidarity for our times.
Commitment to equity and inclusion
Equity isn’t a theme at the NTC — it’s built into everything we do. From program design to vendor choices, we aim to create a space where participants feel welcomed, supported, and able to engage fully. We work with attendees to meet accessibility and childcare needs, ensuring everyone has the tools and support required to participate. We foster spaces for connection through racial affinity lounges, LGBTQIA2S+ spaces, and other community gatherinAgs. We prioritize local vendors, especially those owned by people of color, LGBTQIA+ people, and women, and hold ourselves to sustainability standards that reduce environmental impact.
Powerful keynote speakers
NTC keynotes bring voices from across movements, sectors, and lived experiences. Past speakers have included grassroots organizers, civic leaders, technologists, and artists — all offering perspectives that push us to see technology not just as a tool, but as a force that impacts equity, justice, and community resilience. These sessions invite us to sit with hard questions, discover unexpected connections, and imagine new ways of working. You can expect to leave a keynote with more than inspiration: you’ll carry forward ideas, strategies, and renewed energy to apply directly in your organization and community.
Professional development and certification
NTC is your chance to grow skills, explore new approaches, and advance your career. All NTC sessions count toward CFRE and CAE credits, and they can also be applied towards NTEN’s five professional certificates. Learn directly from peers experimenting with technology in their organizations, discover fresh strategies, and walk away with practical insights to apply immediately. Whether deepening expertise or broadening your leadership and tech skills, the NTC offers a dynamic space for professional growth.
