It will also analyze a couple case studies in which nonprofit organizations successfully used text messaging to advance their organizational goals. There will also be ample time for Q&A and an interactive group brainstorm on how participants can make their entrance into the mobile revolution.

About the Presenter

Debra Brown, Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer of MobilizeUs

Debra has over ten years of experience in creating and growing organizations and has held a variety of leadership positions within the nonprofit sector. In addition to running MobilizeUs, Debra is the Director of the Colorado Community Organizer’s Collaborative Grassroots Fundraising Project. Prior to starting MobilizeUs, she worked as the Community Relations Liaison for the Southern Arizona Children’s Advocacy Center, and held volunteer positions with several community organizations. Debra has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Arizona.
