Events are a powerful tool in both spreading awareness around an issue, and raising money for a cause. When an NPO has a lean staff and a tight budget, running an event can feel like a daunting task—but nonprofit organizers armed with the right tools can run a successful event that garners impressive results.

One of the trickiest parts of having a successful event is getting the word out about it. As the impact of social media continues to grow, it is increasingly important for NPOs to integrate social media into their outreach efforts. By sharing examples of some of the NPOs they have worked with, Eventbrite will suggest ways to use the social media to increase awareness around your cause and improve your fundraising efforts. Already Eventbrite has helped organizers raise over $24 million through events.
