Event Details
Using examples of actual nonprofits’ YouTube channels, this session will provide technical details about setting up your nonprofit's YouTube channel, making it look great, and A to Z steps to producing your own videos, testimonials, etc. on a budget. We'll also discuss content strategy and how video can be a critical component of your social media and marketing strategy.
During this webinar, you'll learn:
- How to set up and customize a YouTube channel for your nonprofit
- How to produce basic, but compelling and professional videos for your nonprofit
- Develop a web video strategy that works for your organization
About the Presenter
Jeff Achen is the interactive media strategist for GiveMN.org. Jeff manages the day-to-day operations, communication efforts and social media strategy for GiveMN. He serves as the primary voice for @givemn and administers GiveMN’s Facebook and YouTube pages. Jeff splits his time equally between GiveMN and two community foundations -- the Minnesota Community Foundation and The Saint Paul Foundation -- where he is responsible for developing and executing social media strategy, print publications, and helping to build new marketing partnerships.
Prior to joining GiveMN and the Foundations, Jeff was an online editor and multimedia producer for a community newspaper group in the south metro suburbs of Minneapolis, St. Paul. He has owned and operated his own videography and photography company and consulting business since 2006. He brings considerable experience in video production to GiveMN and leads GiveMN's video initiatives.
Jeff holds a Bachelors degree and Masters degree in Communication from the University of North Dakota.
