Product Spotlight: Social Media Fundraising: Using Widgets Successfully for Fundraising-PayPal Findings & Nonprofit Case Studies
Event Details
You’ve heard about using widgets for fundraising on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. What are they? How do they work? And at what cost? During this session, PayPal will share what they’ve learned over the last 2 years of offering fundraising widgets. We’ll discuss myths and findings – and you may be surprised by what we’ve learned. You’ll also hear examples of organizations – both small and large – that have successfully fundraised with widgets and how they fueled donations. Please join us at this session as we discuss and learn how to navigate Web 2.0 fundraising through the use of widgets.
Learning Objectives:
1. What are giving widgets and how and when to integrate them into your social media strategy
2. Leverage our findings and learn more about our soon to be released Facebook widget
3. Hear directly from a nonprofit on how they used a giving widget – what worked, what didn’t and recommendations
