There is a lot of talk about the growth of online fundraising, but wouldn't it be nice to see some real data, trends, and information? We thought so too. This session will review research done around online/offline donors, trends around gift sizes and patterns, the growth of larger online gifts, benchmarks for your online giving programs, and more. You will gain valuable insights about online giving from across many nonprofit organizations.

Join us to review Blackbaud's analysis of online giving. In 2008, they found that December accounted for about 21% of the year's transaction volume, but 48% of the total dollars raised. The average online gift for the month of December increased to $248.82 for Blackbaud customers in the entire analysis. These positive results should not be overlooked by your nonprofit! Come learn these stats and learn more about the state of online fundraising as we approach the major giving season.
