Presented by: Rem Hoffmann, Exponent Partners and Rob Jordan, Idealist Consulting
Rem Hoffmann is President and CEO of Exponent Partners, an information technology consulting firm dedicated to improving nonprofit performance. A career entrepreneur, Rem is also an information technology thought leader and business strategist who has built successful professional services and consulting practices in the commercial, government, and nonprofit markets. He strives to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the nonprofit sector through strategic business planning, innovative business process development, careful and creative information systems design, and introduction of innovative technologies. Since 2003, Rem has focused on introducing 'on-demand' computing to the nonprofit sector and has been driving its adoption for programmatic business applications and nonprofit performance management ever since. As an extension of his vision for creating a stronger social sector community, Rem serves on the board of the Center for What Works. The center provides research-proven tools and resources to help nonprofits reach their desired outcomes, goals, and missions.
Rob Jordan began his career in project management with McNett Corporation, an international OEM located in Washington State. Roughly six years later he joined the Peace Corps where he served as a business development volunteer for the country of Ukraine. After his service Rob began work with an established USAID consulting firm where he was employed as a business analyst assisting private and public sector organizations with technical and organizational development. These organizations encompassed a wide range of industries including but not limited to: Manufacturing, Education, Disaster Relief, Local Government, Marketing, Nonprofits, and others. Shortly thereafter he was employed as a business development consultant in Central America with the international nonprofit organization, Outward Bound. This experience is accompanied by a B.A. from Western Washington University and an M.A. from University of Denver. Rob is now the principal of Idealist Consulting, a consulting firm for socially responsible business’s serving over 150 clients through out the world.
