Presented by: Carie Lewis, Humane Society of the United States. As Internet Marketing Manager at The Humane Society of the United States, Carie leads online advertising and social media campaigns for the nation’s largest and most powerful animal welfare organization. She plans, implements, and evaluates the organization’s advocacy and donation campaigns, and also helps departments market their campaigns within the organization. She has a strong passion for using web 2.0 tools, particularly social networks, for the purpose of community building. Carie is a member of the Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN) and Techsoup, and has been interviewed for articles on The Chronicle of Philanthropy, Fundraising Success Magazine, and The Nonprofit Times. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Salisbury University.
