Social Actions' Change the Web Challenge
Join Peter Deitz and Joe Solomon for an introduction to Social Actions' Change the Web Challenge.
Social Actions helps people find and share opportunities to make a difference. The opportunities are collected from 40+ action sources, including Kiva, GlobalGiving, DonorsChoose.org, Change.org, DemocracyinAction, Idealist, and VolunteerMatch. In February, Social Actions launched the Change the Web Challenge, a competition that rewards developers for creating innovative web applications and widgets that promote opportunities to take action all over the web.
In this webinar, we'll cover these popular questions: What is the Social Actions open database of opportunities to make a difference? How can your nonprofit contribute and benefit? What are the kinds of web applications and widgets that can be developed? What is the Change the Web Challenge - and how can you participate? What are the implications of Social Actions' work for the nonprofit sector? Of course, we'll also welcome your questions and ideas!
We're looking forward to exploring Social Actions' Change the Web Challenge with the NTEN community!
Presented by: Peter Deitz, Founder, Social Actions, and author of a blog about peer-to-peer social change and Joe Soloman, Labs Lead Scientist and Evangelist, Social Actions.
