June 24, 3:30-5 pm EST Shirley Sexton, Director of Interactive Marketing & Fundraising at See3 Communications, will share best practices for layout and usability of information on nonprofit websites to improve results for fundraising and other key activities. Mckenzie Lock, Senior Communications Manager, Communications and Outreach at Women Thrive Worldwide, will talk about how they transformed their website to be more aligned with their brand and user-friendly for their target audience, using specific color palettes, images, and other design elements. Eve Simon, Creative Director at Beaconfire Consulting, will talk about the process for designing visually engaging and audience/mission targeted websites for the next generation of non profits. 

June 25, 3:30-5 pm EST Kate Sands Adams, Web Director at the International Rescue Committee, will talk about how they used a website usability study and online focus groups to continually improve the design of their site. Robert DuBois, Media & Design Manager at GlobalGiving, will talk about how you can develop a flexible website and consistent user experience using grid-based design. Heidi Hess, Director of Online Communications at the Children's Defense Fund and Jim Jacobs, VP Interactive at OmniStudio, will talk about the process they used to redesign the CDF site to make it more user-centric and usable, and to translate action-oriented information into different types of graphical elements.
