Learn about and discuss how to implement innovative fundraising strategies. * Find out how you can convert your supporters to donors. * Empower your donors to help you fundraise. * Integrate Web 2.0 tools and social networking in your fundraising strategy. Stacie Mann, Director of Marketing at Network for Good, will share some key takeaways about person-to-person fundraising based on their experience with individuals fundraising for their cause from SixDegrees.org. Mendi Njonjo, Operations Manager at Advocacy Project, will talk about successes and challenges of their recent email fundraising campaign. Erin Anderson, eCommunity Mobilization Manager at the American Cancer Society, will talk about how they have used Second Life and other social networking sites to engage their supporters and fundraise online. The meeting will take place from 12:00-1:30 pm on Thurs., May 17. Let us know if you are interested in joining the discussion by phone.
