Suzanne Seggerman is the Co-Founder of Games for Change,a non-profit which seeks to harness the extraordinary power of video games to address the most pressing issues of our day, including poverty, education, human rights, global conflict and climate change. Suzanne has been featured on CNN, ABC News and in the New York Times, and speaks at conferences around the world, including Global Contents Forum Seoul, Sundance Film Festival and PopTech. Suzanne was recently named among the 2008 “Women Leading in Technology in Politics and Policy" and won a MacArthur Foundation's Digital Media and Learning Award in 2007. Before G4C, Suzanne was a Director at NYC-based think tank Web Lab, where she co-curated the show "Provocations" for the 2002 Florida Film Festival, the first national exhibition featuring digital games about social-issues. Before her involvement with new media, she worked as a documentary film producer for PBS, including on Ken Burns/Stephen Ives PBS series "The West" and as Co-producer of "Race For Life," a humanitarian aid and documentary film about Eastern Europe.
